Directions to Dunsmuir's Main Entrance

From San Francisco:
Cross the Bay Bridge and continue to 580 East towards Hayward. Exit at 106th Ave./Foothill Blvd. Make three left turns at the three stop signs. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From Marin County Area:
Cross the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge and continue to 80 West towards Oakland. Take 580 East towards Hayward. Exit at 106th Ave./Foothill Blvd. Make three left turns at the three stop signs. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From Berkeley:
Take 13 South towards Hayward. Continue to the junction of 580. Take 580 East towards Hayward. Exit at 106th Ave./Foothill Blvd. Make three left turns at the three stop signs. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From the Walnut Creek Area:
Take 24 West through the Caldecot Tunnel. Take 13 South towards Hayward. Continue to the junction of 580. Take 580 East towards Hayward. Exit at 106th Ave./Foothill Blvd. Make three left turns at the three stop signs. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From the Livermore/Pleasanton & Hayward/Castro Valley Area:
Take 580 West towards Oakland. Exit Foothill/MacArthur Blvd. Move into the right lane as you drive under the freeway and continue right onto Foothill Blvd. Make a right turn at the next stop sign onto 106th Ave. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

From San Jose & the South Bay:
Take 880 North to 238 East towards Castro Valley/Oakland. Take 580 West towards Oakland. Exit Foothill/MacArthur Blvd. Move into the right lane as you drive under the freeway and continue right onto Foothill Blvd. Make a right turn at the next stop sign onto 106th Ave. Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

Directions to Dunsmuir's Covington Gate (for all events at the Carriage House)

Take 580W toward Oakland. Exit at Estudillo Avenue. Turn right on MacArthur Blvd. Turn right at Dutton Ave (second light). Go under freeway and continue straight (Dutton will turn into Marlow). Turn left at Covington Street, pass the "not a through street" sign and park in the lot.

From the Walnut Creek Area:
Take 24W through the Caldecott Tunnel. Take 13S toward Hayward. Transfer to 580E toward Hayward. Exit at Dutton Avenue. Turn left at Dutton Ave. (first light). Go under freeway and continue straight (Dutton will turn into Marlow). Turn left at Covington Street, pass the "not a through street" sign and park in the lot.

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)
BART can be taken either to the Oakland Coliseum or San Leandro stations. The AC Transit bus #45 can be picked up from the Coliseum station (more information below). Use BART's trip planner for driving directions from the Coliseum station.

Driving Directions from the San Leandro BART station:
Drive up Estudillo Ave (turning right out of the BART parking lot or off of San Leandro Blvd. which runs in front of the station) all the way to the 580 freeway entrance toward Oakland (West).
You only stay on the freeway a few seconds before exiting at Foothill/MacArthur Blvd.
Move into the right lane as you drive under the freeway and continue right onto Foothill Blvd.
Make a right turn at the next stop sign onto 106th Ave.
Drive under freeway and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Dr. Follow signs to Dunsmuir.

AC Transit Bus
Bus #45/Foothill Square (Map/Schedule) drops off near Dunsmuir. Walk or bike up 106th Ave. and turn right onto Peralta Oaks Blvd. following the signs to Dunsmuir.
